Mia Wasikowska: Alice or The Queen of Spades?

Mia Wasikowska looked totally different at the premiere of her movie “Alice in Wonderland,” as she looked nowhere near Alice… but rather the queen of spades.

The Aussie actress, who is a newcomer in the Hollywood scene, rocked the red carpet premiere of Tim Burton’s fantasy flick, with her cropped Twiggy-inspired hair and a long, black gown with lace embellishments from the shoulders to neck. I like the dresss because it was able to highlight her fresh face, but I think she needed more color in her outfit, given that it’s a fantasy flick she’s promoting. Just my two cents, but Mia’s totally beautiful.

The Red Queen: Helena Bonham Carter

Helena Bonham Carter truly looks like a queen in her outfit, especially her tiara, but not the one for royalty; rather, she can pass for the queen of the homeless chic.

The English actress, who stars as The Red Queen in the hit fantasy thriller “Alice in Wonderland” walked down the red carpet wearing a tiara, red brunette hair, and a flimsy collection of rags all rolled into dress. Well, it seems like the homeless chic fashion is becoming a fad today, thanks to her and Lindsay Lohan. But Helena’s known for wearing such outrageous ensembles so I’m no longer surprised. Besides, she’s still a queen, Tim Burton’s queen.

Gaga Channels Divine Intervention on BBC Show

From black rose headgears to antlers, now Lady Gaga surprises us with yet another bizarre outfit, this time with  a lit up headdress that makes her look like ‘divine light’ from the heavens above.

The singer and fashion icon was in London to perform live on British television to promote her new single, “Telephone,” and while she’s on the couch with Jonathan Ross, she wore a black telephone headgear. Great. And when she took the stage to perform, she was all white and divine, not to mention powerful and ethereal. Well, I like her divine light drama, but not that phone on her head. What do you people think?

Tanaholic Chick: Paris Hilton

I sort of like Paris Hilton’s summer striped dress which she wore in one of the events she went with Doug Reinhardt, even if it’s still spring. However, there’s something terribly wrong with her look.

It’s not really her dress, or her makeup (as she still looks like the same Paris that we know), but her skin. Don’t you think that her skin’s now overbaked? The tan-obsessed hotel heiress seemed to have been way overjoyed staying under the sun while trying to escape the blizzards of New York, she now looks too dull to be orange, but too light to be brown. What can you say, Doug?

KStew Tries to Pose-and Smiles!

Kristen Stewart is known for not knowing how to smile, staying grumpy and all angst-driven, but this time she wears some girly color and tries to strike a pose.

The “Twilight” star, who took her break from fighting for her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson), now stars in the highly anticipated rocker biopic, “The Runaways,” together with fellow tween star Dakota Fanning. While Dakota glittered in silver, Kristen on the other hand was in a pink frock, black peep-toes and puffed up hair. And she’s trying to pose for the cameras! Well, I’ll be giving her an A for effort, but that doesn’t mean she already looks good. Sorry, she needs more practice.

Dakota Fanning Glitters in Metallic Silver!

Dakota Fanning is truly all grown up, and it shows on her getup at the Los Angeles Premiere of her upcoming rock star biopic, “The Runaways.”

The young star, who recently celebrated her 16th birthday, wore a silver glittery cocktail frock at the Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles, where she walked on the red carpet together with co-star and BFF Kristen Stewart, and real life rock stars themselves Cherie Currie and Joan Jett. I like Dakota’s dress not only because it’s silver, but because of the matching snakeskin pumps and that flowery ring she adorned on her finger. I really believe she’ll be one style icon as she grows up, so keep up the good work, Dakota!

Fashion Faceoff: Gaga Channels Christina

Lady Gaga is known for donning original outfits, as most of her wardrobe choices are designed by no less but herself. However, she can also be capable of channeling somebody else’s outfit, and in this case it’s Christina Ricci’s Mar Jacobs flowing gown. Ricci was able to radiate in the white, lacy gown, although she reminded me of the female version of Casper the Friendly Ghost. Gaga on the other hand paired the same gown with a military cap and Lennon shades, for a rather different look. Who do you think wins this game of fashion faceoff? Well, for me I guess it’s Christina Ricci, for the sole fact that she wore the gown first before Gaga did.

Jessica Simpson has a new show, “The Price of Beauty,” where she’s going to travel all over the world to see the different views and aspects of beauty according to today’s existing cultures, norms and traditions, and she’s up for the challenge to blend within. And of course, she went to David Letterman’s show to promote her new stint. Did she do anything with this? Tell us, Jess-did you get a boob job?
