Makeup Trends: JLo’s Berry Lips

Aside from Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lopez also joined her co-stars at the LA premiere of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” looking elegant all covered up in her nude dress and matching berry lips, nails and accessories.

The 42-year-old ‘American Idol’ judge wore a floor-length Maria Lucia Hohan “Ambra” maxi silk tulle gown, which featured a plunging v-neckline, long puff sleeves, and a matching leather belt. Jennifer Lopez then paired the goddess dress with crystal-encrusted Sergio Rossi caged-ankle peep-toe booties (from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection) and accessorized with a Swarovski clutch.

J-Lo wore her hair in a low ponytail that showed off a pair of shimmery rose-gold Jacqueline Nerguizian drop earrings and a set of diamond bangles, which all matched her sparkly nude dress.

What we love about J-Lo’s outfit was how she matched the color of her manicure, jewelry and makeup. Like Camilla Belle’s Met Gala makeup, J-Lo went with a dark berry lip color, which she color-coordinated with her ring and nail polish. She then rocked black eyeliner on both upper and lower lids, then bronze eyeshadow around the eyes.

We’d probably be seeing more maroon, chocolate brown, eggplant and other darker lipstick colors come this fall. Do you love J-Lo’s dark berry lips?

Hair Accessory Trend: Elizabeth Banks’ Brooch-Entwined Hair

We were gushing over Kristen Stewart’s golden chain-entwined hair at the world premiere of “Snow White and the Huntsman” in London and it looks like the trend has continued back home, with Elizabeth Banks accessorizing her blonde locks with a golden brooch at the LA premiere of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.”

The 38-year-old actress wore a dark red Alexander McQueen dress (from the pre-fall 2012 collection), which featured a full skirt and maroon embroidery throughout the sleeveless tea-length dress. Elizabeth Banks paired it up with a two-tone Alexander McQueen strappy cap-toe pumps.

Aside from wearing this gorgeous cocktail dress, Elizabeth also chose the perfect accessories to the event. She went with the matching dark red clutch with gold knuckle hardware (also from McQueen’s Pre-fall 2012 collection) and a 1940′s Fred Leighton citrine ring.

The last bit of accessory went to her blonde hair. After styling her tresses in a swept-up ‘do, Banks entwined a Fred Leighton gold swallow brooch into her updo. She finished off with pink lips and neutral makeup.

Anna Kendrick Dazzles in Elie Saab

Anna Kendrick, who is part of the ensemble cast of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” joined her co-stars at the LA premiere at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre yesterday, wearing a sparkly mini dress.

The 26-year-old “Twilight” star wore nude Elie Saab dress (from the Spring 2012 Haute Couture collection), which featured three-quarter length sleeves, a full mini skirt and bead/sequin embellishments throughout the dress. Anna Kendrick paired the stunning dress with sexy silver Christian Louboutin “Just Picks” ankle-strap pumps.

Anna then accessorized with pearlescent Edie Parker “Lara” clutch and added more glitz to her outfit with Norman Silverman jewelry. She finished off her look by wearing her long brown tresses down with sexy waves, matching pinkish nude lips and blush, black eyeliner, metallic eyeshadow and extra-long lashes for that added drama.
